In the 9th century BC, during the reign of King Aram, Nairi—with Van as
its capital—and the Kingdom of Ararat were united under the name Bihayna:
“Bi-hay-na,” meaning “double Armenian land.” We named the collection
“Bihayna” because every woman, every girl, carries within her a powerful,
unifying force. The Bihayna collection shall become a source of inspiring
and unifying strength.
