Zvartnots is an Armenian monument of early medieval architecture.
The towers of the Zvartnots Temple are a unique phenomenon in Armenian
(and not only Armenian) architecture of the early Middle Ages.
In the assembled part of the vaults, 9 out of 32 bas-reliefs of clergy and
secular persons have been preserved.

In 1989 it was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.
